Look at the appearance and feel: The surface of genuine leather has natural pores and textures, and each texture is different. It feels warm and elastic, and radial fine lines will appear when pressed. The texture of imitation leather is regular and consistent, and the touch is plasticky, and it will be cooler in low temperature environments.

Check the logos and cutouts: Regular models will indicate genuine leather/imitation leather (PU, PVC, microfiber leather) on the configuration sheet and seat labels. The dermal incision has irregular animal fiber layers, while the imitation leather incision is made of uniform synthetic material.
Burning test (private operation is not recommended): Burning genuine leather will smell like burnt hair, and the ashes will turn into loose powder; burning fake leather will smell like pungent plastic, and the ashes will form hard lumps. It is not recommended to burn it on your own daily to avoid damaging the seat.
